Four Sisters Make Final Profession PDF Print E-mail
After six months of intensification, Sr. Joan Brigida Corazon Infante, OSA happily professed her lifetime commitment to God and to the Church at La Consolacion Convent Chapel, San Juan City last April 14, 2007.  The Eucharistic Celebration was graced by the presence of the Provincial Superior of  the  Province  of Australia, Fr. Tony Banks, OSA, as Presider and Homilist.

Some other Priests from the Augustinian family and other Congregations concelebrated in the Mass. Sr. Joan returned back to Australia where she is assigned as Chaplain at St. Augustine College, Australia.

On September 8, 2007, the celebration of the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary gave meaning to the solemn profession of vows of   Sr. Jelie Espelico, Sr. Concepcion Marmolejo and Sr. Zaida Villareal. The Eucharistic Celebration was officiated by Most Rev. Gilbert Garcera, D.D., Bishop of Daet at LA Consolacion Convent, San Juan City.

HISTORY

Our Congregation of the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation was founded in 1883. It had its beginnings in Barcelona, at the Beaterio de Mantelatas de San Agustin in Calle Hospital, No. 23.
